Dr. Munira M. Momin
M. Pharm. Ph.D.
Dr. Munira Momin currently serving as a Principal and Professor at SVKM’s Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati College of Pharmacy, Mumbai, India. She is a recipient of Nehru-Fulbright Professional excellence administrators fellowship for the year 2019. Under her leadership, the institute has received many accolades to count a few, accreditation by NBA with Full accreditation status for SIX years, NIRF rank 38th (NIRF Ranking 2022), Two times national winner of Best Industry Linked Pharmacy degree college Award of AICTE-CII, DST-FIST grant of 100 lakh. The college has received around 3.2 crore industry collaborative and government research funding in last three years. She has institutionalized number of innovative practices in teaching and research. The college has seen a complete transformation on research and student’s professional and societal activities. To mention about her academic background, she obtained her B. Pharm and M. Pharm (Pharmaceutics) from L.M. college of Pharmacy, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, India. She has received F H Jani gold medal for merit rank in Pharmaceutical technology subjects in B. Pharm. She is a recipient of Prof M. L. Khurana Memorial Award for Best Research Paper published during the Year 2008-09 in Pharmaceutics and Bio-Pharmaceutics. Dr. Munira has published several research papers in national and international journals. She, as a PI and Co-PI has received research grants (Industry collaborative research and Govt. funding), with total amount of more than 100 Lakh. She has five patents in pipeline and one trademark to her credit. Dr. Momin has three books on pharmaceutics and pharmaceutical Engineering to her credit. She has three book chapters to her credit in CRS press and Tylor Francis publishers.
